This study examines the relevance of character education based on Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) values as a moral bulwark for the younger generation in facing the moral crisis caused by the negative influence of social media in the digital era, using the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali's thought. Employing a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach to classical and contemporary Islamic literature, this study finds that the four core Aswaja values — tawassuth, tawazun, tasamuh, and i'tidal strongly correlate with Al-Ghazali's concept of tahdzib al-akhlaq in Ihya' Ulumuddin, and prove effective as protective instruments against digital social pathologies such as radicalism, cyberbullying, and moral decadence. Al-Ghazali's methodology of riyaḍah al-nafs and muhasabah is relevant when operationalized through three pillars: ta'lim al-qalb, ta'lim al-'aql, and ta'lim al-jasad, which holistically cultivate the spiritual and moral resilience of the younger generation. This study recommends the reconstruction of Islamic education curricula to systematically integrate Aswaja values across all levels of education.
