Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan zakat BAZNAS Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan dampak distribusi zakat terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan mustahik di pasar Kuto. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan riset lapangan (field research) dan riset kepustakaan (library risearch). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa BAZNAS Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melakukan pengelolaan penghimpunan dengan tiga cara yaitu sosialisasi, kerja sama, dan pemanfaatan rekening bank. Pengelolaan pendistribusian zakat melalui lima program yaituSumsel Peduli, Sumsel Sehat, Sumsel Makmur, Sumsel Taqwa, dan Sumsel Cerdas. Sedangkan pengeloaan pendayagunaan zakat dilakukan dengan cara pemberian pinjaman modal usaha dangan pola qardhul hasan. Adapun dana zakat yang telah didistribusikan BAZNAS Provinsi Sumatera Selatan berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan mustahik di pasar Kuto.
