The publication of an article in AL-IQTISHAD represents a collaborative effort involving authors, reviewers, editors, editorial board members, and the publisher. All parties involved are expected to uphold ethical standards and academic integrity throughout the publication process.

Responsibilities of the Journal

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to AL-IQTISHAD must ensure that:

  • Any text, data, figures, or materials derived from other works are appropriately cited and, where necessary, accompanied by permission for reuse.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

  • The manuscript has not been previously published.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal simultaneously.
  • Any overlap with previously published work is clearly disclosed to the editor at the time of submission.

Data Integrity

  • Research data are accurate, authentic, and honestly reported.
  • Data fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or selective reporting are strictly prohibited.
  • Authors must retain research data and provide them when requested for editorial review.

Authorship

  • Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the study.
  • All authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.

To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content, AL-IQTISHAD utilizes digital archiving systems through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, including LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and other archiving services when available.

These systems provide secure preservation, restoration, and permanent access to published articles.
