Islamic Religious Education is a science taught to students from an early age, with the aim of introducing them to Islamic teachings. This introduction process has evolved over time, from traditional methods using books or lectures, to now utilizing digital learning media. There are various choices of platforms and models in Islamic Religious Education, such as visual, audio, and audio-visual media. The development of digital technology certainly has various impacts. On the one hand, there are positive impacts, such as increasing the appeal of learning that can be adjusted to the potential of each student. However, there are also negative impacts that will be obtained, such as easy access to information that can lead to undesirable things. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the influence of digital technology in Islamic Religious Education. This study uses a quantitative approach through data collection carried out through a study of books and journals accessed via Internet Explorer. The results of this study reveal what influences have an impact on students through
digital technology that is developing in this modern era. From the development of this digital technology, Islamic Religious Education learning has been proven to have a good or bad impact on students, therefore it requires harmony between technological progress and fundamental Islamic values.
